After a century bike ride in Tucson, we headed to Sedona. We decided we were renting a Jeep to go rock crawling instead of joining the pink Jeep tour. And wow, our tour was so much better sliding down the staircase and climbing over boulders while carefully maneuvering our jeep.

My most visceral memory is of a whitewater rafting trip in Alaska in glacial runoff. We pack rafted for days before an almost tragic accident where we capsized and needed to be rescued. It was terrifying but the memory brought me closer to my friend and forged new friendships.
